The Manchester Project was an ambitious and pioneering development located north of the traditional industrial areas of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Panattoni believed that a state of the art facility similar to Panattoni’s successful Airport Road project, combined with lower occupancy costs than those in other municipalities, would attract tenants to Bolton, Ontario. Panattoni constructed two buildings on “spec” totaling 830,0000 sq. ft., designed to provide flow-through shipping, a high truck door ratio and substantial yard area for trailer parking. The project is now leased to two multinational firms (Colgate-Palmolive and Exel Canada) who utilize their space for their Canadian supply chain operations.
