Andy Smele is one of three partners of Panattoni Development Company (Canada). 

With a career that spans over 30 years in real estate brokerage, Andy has acted for both private and institutional clients and has been involved in numerous transactions. From 1995 to 2005, Andy and his partner, Wade Dobbin, were Vice Presidents at Cushman & Wakefield Ltd./Royal LePage Commercial where they were recognized as the number one industrial agents in Canada from 1997 through 2004 and received Cushman/Royal LePage’s award for the Largest Single Industrial Transaction each year from 1996 through 2004.

Since Panattoni Canada’s inception in 2005, Andy, together with his partner Wade Dobbin, has overseen Panattoni’s Canadian operations with offices in Toronto and Edmonton. Projects to date have exceeded 15 million square feet of development and redevelopment. Andy’s focus is largely on identifying, pursuing and managing the delivery of development opportunities, with particular expertise in deal execution. He is further a primary contact for the company’s partners, clients and real estate brokers in relation to current projects and market opportunities.

Andy has the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), an international designation awarded to individuals who have demonstrated a sustained level of activity in the sale of industrial and investment real estate and have also successfully completed a comprehensive series of marketing and financing courses.

Andy is located in Toronto and makes frequent trips to Edmonton. His expertise spans both local markets and he provides general management oversight to operations in both locations.
